To all parents/guardians (Except Year 4 and Year 7 parents)
The school is continually looking to improve the communication it has with parents/guardians and to keep them informed of what their child is doing at the school. The school has already computerised the Discipline Report System for the present 4th Year and it is now in a position to extend the system to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th Years.
Staff will no longer be issuing paper Discipline Report Slips to the pupils. Instead they will complete the slip on the computer and it will be filed electronically. Copies will then automatically be sent to the Form Tutor, Head of Year, Senior Teacher in charge of Discipline, the pupil and the parents/guardians of the pupil. The pupil will be given a note informing them that they have a Discipline Report Slip and can see and print a copy of the Slip by accessing the school Intranet site using their intranet account.
A copy of the Discipline Report Slip will be sent to the parents/guardians for information and it will be possible to print a copy through the intranet system.
In order to do this the school needs an e-mail address for each parent or guardian. Would all parents therefore please complete the details below. If you do not have access to a computer please get in contact with the school (tel 22 799300) so that alternative arrangements can be made.
