Notes accompanying the speciment papers / exemplar materials
The entrance examinations in Mathematics and the candidates Native Language (Greek or Turkish) are based on the primary school syllabuses as set by the relevant Ministry of Education.
There will be a diagnostic test in English language which will be used by the School to decide whether a pupil will be required to follow an intensive course in English before the academic year begins. The mark is not included in calculating the passing mark.
The examination papers attached are simply a sample of the standard that the pupil is expected to reach.
The English School reserves the right in each examination cycle to test the knowledge and ability of candidates in any way the School deems appropriate.
