The DofE International Award 50th Anniversary Ceremony

Celebrating 50 Years of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award at The English School!

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award 50th Anniversary Celebration & Presentation Ceremony took place on Wednesday 20th June 2018 in The English School Hall. It was a great honour to welcome H.E. The British High Commissioner, Mr Stephen Lillie to the school as guest of honour.
 
During the ceremony, the first Gold Awardees of the School, Ms Frosoula Iacovou, Ms Katia (Symeonidou) Barber, Mr Leandros Zachariades, Ms Yiola (Papaioannou) Koumas and Mr Panayiotis Joannou, husband of late Chloe (Papanicolaou) Joannou, were presented with commemorative plaques by H.E. the British High Commissioner.
 
A total of 121 Awards (71 Bronze, 41 Silver & 9 Gold) were presented to our students. Congratulations to all our new Awardees for their great achievement!
