We are very pleased to announce that our student Ara Mahdessian won a gold medal at the 25th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad, which took place between the 29th of June and the 5th of July.

This is the first time a member of the National Team of Cyprus received a gold medal in an International Competition, making this an exceptional success not only for Ara, The English School but for Cyprus as well.

Furthermore, Ara competed in the International Mathematics competition that took place from the 27th July to the 1st August and won a silver medal!

Congratulations Ara on this amazing accomplishment. We are very proud of you!
