Physics Decathlon Competiton

Congratulations to Louis Christodoulou, Andrea Anastasiades, Panayiotis Louca, and Mikaella Mavrogeni for winning 1^st prize in the Physics Decathlon competition, organised by the Cyprus Physicists Society. 

They received their award at a fantastic ceremony organised by the Cyprus Physicists Society at The Central Bank of Cyprus on 26.6.17.  Andreas Economou was also rewarded for his achievement in the Physics Olympiad and Head of Physics, Mrs Kapsou picked up his award on his behalf.  We enjoyed the motivational speeches from the guest physicists and members of the society. The English School Physics Department looks forward to further cooperation and participation in the interesting activities and competitions offered by the society.  We already have students taking lessons in preparation for the Astronomy Olympiad in September and wish them the best of luck.
