Eleven years and counting - The English School graduates achieve exceptional results in officer selection examinations set by the Cypriot National Guard

In July, the Ministry of Defence announced this year's examination results for its selection of 100 officer cadets for the National Guard. 
The exams were prepared by the University of Cyprus and 511 soldier candidates sat the Greek Language and IQ papers. 
 
16 out of 100 officer cadet positions were awarded to this year’s graduate boys!
This is once again the highest success rate compared to any other school on the island.

For the past eleven years, The English School has been providing a series of lessons in order to prepare students for officer training examinations.  All these years the lessons are provided by Mr Panos Polyzogopoulos.  Officer training examinations consists of essay writing (in Greek) and IQ tests, along with track and field trials.
Credits and thanks go to our Greek Language teachers for keeping Greek Language at such a high level and a very special thank you to Mr. Polyzogopoulos for his invaluable help.
