KPMG Global Cyber Day events

​On the 18th January, we were delighted to welcome Mr Kyriakos Costa, Cyber Security Advisor from KPMG Cyprus, who presented to our Year 2 students about cyber security.

KPMG has launched a worldwide community initative which is aimed at educating students of various age groups, as well as adults, about the importance of cyber security.  As we all know cyber security awareness is more critical now than ever before for all, but it is particularly so for our youth.

The topics covered this year were social media, online identity protection, cyber bullying, online gaming and cyber threats. The aim of the presentation was to teach students valuable lessons on how to stay safe online and how they can champion the protection of their own personal data and online security.

We were fortunate to participate in this wonderful initiative.
