Year 3 Assembly: Hope for Children

On Tuesday 13th February in the Lecture Theatre we had the honour of welcoming The Hope For Children Director-General, Joseph Varughese, and the trainers of the organization, Christine Shahbenderian and Martina Cicaloni.

The English School Hope for Children Ambassadors were congratulated for the work done so far and more information was given to the Year 3 students about the mission of Hope for Children.

Our Ambassadors are:

The Global Perspectives and Economics Society students during the anti-poverty week in October coordinated different charity events, bake-sales, a non-uniform day to raise money to go to various NGO’s working to eradicate poverty locally and globally. EUR1000 was offered to the Hope For Children.
