Our Year 3 students participated in discussions on the Protection and Welfare of Children

On Monday, November 20, 2017, three Year 3 students, Anna Petrides (3 Jade), Eleni Hadjiosif (3 White) and Eleni Anayiotou (3 Yellow) represented our school at an activity organised by the Committee for the Protection and Welfare of Children NICOSIA-KYRENIA. 

The activity was in the form of a Discussion/Dialogue and the theme was ‘I care for my community’.  Students from several public and private schools of Nicosia discussed, in the presence of the Mayor of Strovolos, Mr Andreas Papacharalambous, about the role that young people have or should have in the community.
 
 
Our students shared their views with the Mayor and the rest of the participants and suggested ways to improve their participation in the organizing of municipal activities and in community life.
