Once again this year the Economics Department has decided to hold a poster competition amongst the fourth form students studying for their IGCSE Economics.
This poster/model competition aims at rewarding student effort and creativity exhibited in the science of Economics. The Prizes will be given to those students whose posters exhibit thorough originality, good conceptualisation of theory and a high level of creativity.
Some examples of topics which could form the subject of your poster/model are:
- Factors of production
- Free markets/mixed economies
- Developed/developing countries
- Business economics/costs of production
- External Costs and Benefits
- Public and Private sector businesses
- Monopolies/oligopolies
Note:
3D models will be accepted but should not be bigger than 50cm x 70cm
Deadline: 2nd April 2019
This project can be done in groups with a student from any other economics class in Year 4 but groups should not be bigger than 4 students.
