Youth Parliament - Athens, July 2016

Mikaelena Kokkinou of 6 Black participated as a delegate of Nicosia in the Meetings of the Youth Parliament (Βουλή των Εφήβων) ,which took place in Athens in July 2016.

290 students from all over Greece and Cyprus took part in the Youth Parliament Program this year and 19 of them represented Cyprus.
 

Mikaelena took part in the Refugee Crisis Committee where the Rights of the refugee children were discussed as well as the efforts that should be made by everybody to help these children to be integrated in their new environment.
 

It was a life-time experience for Mikaelena ,as she visited the Greek Parliament, she met the Greek Prime Minister and many Ministers and MP’s. She also visited Acropolis and the Parthenon and made new friendships with students from all parts of Greece.​
