European Youth Parliament 97th International Session in
Novi Sad - Bridging the Culture Gap!
The 95th International Session of the European Youth Parliament (EYP)
took place In March in Novi Sad, Serbia. It brought together 175 participants
from all corners of Europe in the first International Session taking place
fully in person since the start of the pandemic.
Congratulations to our own Eleni Protopapa that was chosen to be
part of the team representing Cyprus in this International Session.
”Novi Sad has definitely been the most memorable EYP session I have
attended to date, and I would not change anything about the experience. I
met so many amazing people that I still talk to almost on a daily basis and I
look forward to seeing them in future EYP sessions. My committee, TRAN,
was simply extraordinary. We gelled as a team almost immediately and we
50 would spend every night in each other’s rooms discussing and playing card
games. Overall, exploring the city and learning so much especially about
the West Balkan Region as well as railways, since this was my topic, was
such an incredible opportunity.”
