Charity
Donations
2012 - 2013
It’s been a successful year for charity donations with over
€17.000
raised by students under the guidance of their teachers.
Many of the events held to raise funds were student initiatives, including bake sales, concerts and craft fairs. In addition,
groups from the school continue to support local organisations by volunteering their time, talents and efforts at bazaars,
marathons and other organised events. Due to the current economic climate in Cyprus, many of our efforts were concen-
trated on helping the local community but, even though charity begins at home, it should not end there, and we will con-
tinue to support projects abroad in war-torn or impoverished countries. Many thanks to all who helped this year.
