A great opportunity was given to the AS business studies group. We visited Laikon Kafekoption where
we saw in action all the things we have been learning for the past three months. We realized that the-
ory and human action do not always cope together. It helped us understand more about how entre-
preneurs think and what goes on behind a factory’s walls, as well as the importance of technology in
modern industry. We were happy to receive samples from their products.

In addition, we were also invited to visit Ocean Basket restaurant in Nicosia, where we were given a tour
by Mr Christophoros and Mr Skordis. We saw how a franchise works, the use of technology in opera-
tions, the importance of customer service and correct marketing in any successful business. We were
also offered a delicious meal by the management, for which we are extremely grateful.
