On Saturday 3rd of November, the ESL19 charity car wash took place at The English School, in order to raise money for the Stand by Greece campaign for “Hope for Children” supporting fire victims in Greece.
With the support of their Head of Year, Ms Maryenda Stefanou, the Economics Society, F1 club and Junior Achievement club our students raised €1,163 in only three hours and a total of 60 cars were washed! It was a lovely afternoon at the school, where teachers and students worked together for this great cause.
We would like to thank everyone who supported our event and especially our sponsors, the ESSO station owned by Mr Nikos Pieridis, the Hyper Car Wash and Super Home Center for providing us with equipment.
