English Teacher (September 2022)

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • First degree in English Literature
  • Experience in teaching IGCSE is required
  • Experience of teaching A-Level would be preferred
  • Holder of relevant PGCE would be preferred
  • Teaching experience in a similar School would be considered an advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written command of the English Language

Accountant

 
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Very good Apolytirion or another school-leaving certificate grade.
  • Academic accounting degree or member of a professional accounting body.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of accounting systems are desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent spoken and written command of the English and Greek Language
  • Excellent numerical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Time management, organisation, confidentiality.

The English School Institute invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following post for the 2021-2022 academic year starting immediately
 

English Language Teacher


Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • A degree in English Language or Linguistics
  • Teacher training qualification CELTYL/CELTA, PGCE or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching younger learners (ages 6-8)
  • Knowledge of phonics and how to teach them
  • Fluent in both Greek and English language
Job Description
  • To offer professional teaching to the pupils of the Institute.
  • To contribute to the efficient running of the section of which s/he is a member.
  • To communicate appropriately with parents to strengthen the home/Institute partnership.
  • To contribute to the overall educational life of the Institute.
  • To maintain and update his/her awareness in his/her teaching area
