On the 12^th and 13^th February, The English School Senior Drama Society embarked on producing an ambitious 1920s farcical, murder mystery. They were delighted that neither casting issues nor technical hitches stood in their way. However, hilarious disaster ensued where the cast and crew started to crack under the pressure.

I am thrilled to have worked with such a powerful group of young actors. The cast and crew worked diligently to bring this play within a play to life, for its audience amidst laughter, excitement and the pure pleasure of working together.

Spectators were taken aback by a performer’s worst nightmare coming true on stage as we had a few students panic when some of the content “was not in the script” whilst others slowly became more and more familiar with the idea that mistakes do happen. Even during a well-rehearsed production.
