The English School Junior Achievement Team CyBark event: Train your dog day
On Sunday, 11th February 2018, we were honoured to welcome to our school grounds, man’s best friend!
CyBark is a team of nine students that have created a student start-up company which truly loves dogs. Their purpose is to ensure their health, guarantee their safety and really take care of these precious souls, known as man’s best friend.
They aim to achieve this through their innovative and ecological products. As their CRM, they have created an online dog sponsorship platform.
The Company organised a very special event on Saturday, 11th February 2018 with trainer and graduate of our School, Stephanos Severis from The Cyprus School for Dog Training. Dogs are trained with positive reinforcement, absolutely no punishment and no force. Sounds difficult to believe, but this actually did happen on the day – The dogs actually listened to their human friends!
CyBark CEO, Alexandra Anastassiadou, thanked Mr. Severis for his time and contribution and further thanked CyBark’s sponsors GAP Vassilopoulos, Alpha Bank and KPMG. She promised another event will be planned in the very near future.
