Instrumental Programme Recital

On Friday, May 17^th the Music Department hosted a recital for all the students Years 1-5 who are currently taking instrumental lessons at school. During the recital, the students that are receiving a scholarship were also evaluated.

The students, their parents and our instrumental teachers were treated to a wide array of music styles ranging from Tchaikovsky’s French Melody to the James Bond theme. An impressive number of thirty-eight students took part from beginner to advanced level.

A big thank you to all instrumental teachers for preparing the students for the recital and for continuing to inspire them:
Diamando Yiassemides (flute), Monica Theodotou (oboe), Evangelos Christodoulou (bassoon), Konstantinos Efraimidis (clarinet/saxophone), Annita Skoutella (French horn), Gareth Griffiths (trumpet), Nicolas Papageorgiou (violin), Doros Zesimos (cello), Eleana Andreou (double bass).

We would also like to thank Leoni Hadjithoma for the piano accompaniment and Diamando Yiassemides for organizing the recital.

Registrations for the instrumental programme are now open for the next academic year. We offer lessons in all instruments, including piano, saxophone, drums and voice, in classical, jazz and rock/pop styles.
