Safer Internet Day 2017 will take place on Tuesday 7th February with the theme 'Be the change: unite for a better internet'. In order to celebrate this very important day, we were very happy to have Mr. Andreas Andreou form Cyber ethics on our campus delivering a workshop about the importance of internet safety.
February 7th is marks the day for Internet Safety. A range of activities will be organized to enlighten our students about the importance of keeping themselves safe on the internet.
We were very happy to welcome Mr. Andreas Andreou from Cyber Ethics on our campus on Thursday, 12th January and Friday, 13th January. He presented to our Year 1 students, touching important topics like Posting of photos, publishing material and overall internet safety.
We have had very positive feedback from both our students and staff. The workshop was very effective and very useful. Students were very keen on asking questions, making comments and sharing their own experiences.
Some of our Year 2 students, members of our Technology club run by Mr. Xenios Polyviou were assisting Mr. Andreou and are acting as ambassadors to raise awareness.
