On Friday 19th April 2019 between 5.00 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. at the Royal Hall in Nicosia, the Junior Achievement Cyprus Company of the Year Competition and Award Ceremony was held.

Congratulations to our Junior Achievement Students
They made us proud again.

1. CanTeens not only made it to the finals but also won the prestigious Second Company of the year award.

The youngest members of the competition and the only digital service among the fifty teams which competed for this year’s award have managed to prove that technology is the future.
They have created from scratch an application which is not only working but is also being trusted and implemented by strong and well-known food companies. They have managed to steal the admiration of the guests who visited their booth.   They deserve our warm congratulations praise. We know that they have worked hard sacrificing their free time and sometimes at the expense of their school work. The school is proud of our four young entrepreneurs and we wish them the best of luck for the future. I am sure that CanTeens will grow big and they will prove that these young boys deserve the best.

Well done: Odysseas Herodotou, Andreas Fattas, Yiangos Kleopas, Stefanos Xydas
We would further like to thank Mr Stephanos Stephanou from CYTA,  Can Teens' mentor on this journey.

2. Voice4me won the signature award, Highest sales

Many people believe the books are not a profitable product. Well, that’s not true.
Sarkis Shadarevian was there to receive the prize and to prove that a publishing company can be a strong human-centred profitable company.

Congratulations to all our team members!

The ten finalists were:

  1. Ballywool
  2. Bioxcare
