News from our Global Perspective Students

Global Perspectives Students from Year 4 had the pleasure of meeting volunteers from the Charity organisation Vagoni Agapis today which works hard to support families in need in Cyprus.

They presented the representatives with a cheque for 1000 euros, which had been raised partially from a Non-uniform Day and from a Bake Sale that they organised as part of the Anti-Poverty Week events in October. Currently the Global Perspectives students are learning about the wonderful work of local and international NGO’s so meeting the volunteers and learning about their work was particularly relevant and meaningful.
 
Well done to the Global Perspectives Students and to the many other ES students who contributed to this cause!
