News from our Hope for Children Club

​Hope for Children club members Eleni Hadjiosif and Emily Kyriakidou (Year 4) were selected to write and present their own speech from the student's perspective on the topic "Integrating Information & Communication Technologies in the Classroom" at the 2nd National Forum on the Rights of the Child hosted by Hope for Children at the University of Nicosia on November 20th. 

They were two out of only three students who presented at the Forum amongst professionals and experts.
 
Later that day, Hope for Children hosted their 10 year anniversary celebration at the Hilton Park where The English School's HFC club members were an integral part of the event as they introduced speakers, presented awards, gave speeches and did the closing remarks to a crowd of 500 guests including the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades.
