Safer Internet Day has been celebrated since 2004, promoting a safer and better internet.  The Internet has many positive aspects, however, the aim is to utilize this wonderful took in a positive, safe and responsible manner.

Celebrated in over 120 countries with the support of organisations and industry, parents and teachers, and children and young people, Safer Internet Day is our chance to create a better internet together!

The English School supports the Safer Internet Day campaign, and we are standing up for what we believe is a very important cause.  We are working together to making a positive impact on the internet.

10 students from Years 1-3 are participated in a grand event organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture at Filoxenia Conference Centre. The representatives of Year 1, the ES Safe Internet Ambassador of our Lower School Odysseas Herodotou and another 3 members of the Technology Club along with their teacher Mr Xenios Polydorou represented our school.

The English school had its own booth where the members of the Technology Club, challenged other students and they completed a "Safe Internet questionnaire". They will also display on a board the best posters which students from Year 1 prepared as part of the Internet Awareness Project.
