Year 3 Initiative of love

16^th May 2018, Year 3 class representatives accompanied by Dr E. Polyviou and Ms R Neocleous went to Kofinou and spent a few hours with refugee children delivering the  goods collected at the donation drive between the 23^rd and 27^th April.

Between the 23^rd and 27^th April Year 3 students organised a donation drive for the Syrian Children in Kofinou Refugee camp.

Items collected included: Clothes, books, children’s drawing boards, educational games, textbooks, hygiene products, canned food, pasta, rice and money.
The smiles on the children’s faces at Kofinou as our Year 3 class representatives delivered the goods gave you a sense of pride and a feeling of thankfulness in our hearts for all we have.   Our students spent a few hours with the children which was a unique experience for all involved.
 
Well done to our Year 3 students for this wonderful initiative and a special thanks to Dr Polyviou for her care, guidance and enthusiasm.
