Congratulations to the 13 students from The English school who have achieved excellent results in the Mathematical Pancyprian competition! 

The Physical Education Department is pleased to announce the results of the Inter-House Cross-Country Competition.

The Finals and 3rd/4th Place Matches for the Year 1 Basketball Tournament and Year 3 Football Tournament were held this week. 

On the 9th of December the Finals and 3rd/4th Place Matches of the Year 1 Basketball Competition and Year 3 Football Competition took place. 

This week, we held Volleyball and Softball competitions. 

​On Sunday, December 11th, the Running Club and PE Department of The English School participated in the Quantum Nicosia Marathon.

On Friday, 2nd December, ​The English School was honoured to be invited to participate in the Special Olympics Floorball Event, organized by the Parimatch Foundation.

On December 20th, 4 Jade, accompanied by their Form Tutor Ms Chryso Constantinou, presented an assembly on the topic of antipoverty. As Mahatma Gandhi famously said, "Poverty is the worst form of violence."

The PE department is happy to announce that we ranked 2nd in the Nicosia Basketball School Competition. 

  

On 18 December, SIMBA Trainers LTD, in cooperation with The English School, organized the second tournament of the 1st Cyprus Schools Grand Prix with the main sponsor Tornaritis Law Firm.

The Cyprus U17 & Youth International badminton tournament was held in Nicosia between 15-18 December and was attended by 180 athletes from over ten countries. 

On Friday, December 16th, our Year 4 Music GCSE students had a very inspiring and creative presentation and workshop by Eleonora Savvidou (ESL 21) on Music composition.
