In an exciting development for our school community, hockey has made a triumphant return to our Afternoon Games program this year. Spearheaded by the dedicated coaching of Neophytos Ioannou, our Junior Boys are taking to the field on Thursdays, while our Junior Girls are honing their skills every Friday. But the enthusiasm doesn't end there; hockey aficionados can also participate in extracurricular activities on Wednesdays.

The exhilarating world of sports brings with it moments of triumph and celebration, and our school's Juniors Boys Volleyball team recently experienced one such moment of glory. 

In an impressive display of skill, teamwork, and determination, of our Junior Boys Volleyball team has proudly advanced to the Final Four of the Nicosia Schools Volleyball Competition. With a decisive 2-0 set victory over Pallouriotissa Gymnasium, the team has showcased their prowess and set their sights on a higher goal: qualification for the Pancyprian competition.

The Senior Boys & Girls Athletics Teams recently showcased their prowess at the Nicosia Boys & Girls Athletics Competition held at G.S.P. Stadium on March 14th and 15th. The event saw exceptional talent and fierce competition from various schools, with our teams standing out with remarkable performances and impressive results across multiple events.

As Arts Week drew to a close on February 16th, the air was filled with the lingering echoes of performances that captured hearts and minds alike. From the dynamic tunes of Band5A to the soulful renditions by Melina Angelides and Juliana Hills, each moment was a testament to the vibrant spirit of our community.

In a captivating display of skill and determination, The English School's U15 Girls' Football Team emerged triumphant in a thrilling encounter against AEL Limassol. On Saturday, 9th March, amidst the vibrant backdrop of Limassol, our girls showcased their prowess on the field, securing a memorable 4-2 victory. Let's delve into the highlights of this exhilarating match and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our talented team.

We are overjoyed to share the exceptional achievements of our JG Athletics Team during the thrilling Nicosia Athletics competitions. With two days filled with remarkable performances, our athletes have once again shown their prowess and determination.

We are thrilled to share the exciting news of our junior girls' triumphs in recent friendly matches against American International School. In both football and volleyball, our Year 1 and Year 2 teams demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, earning well-deserved victories.

On Monday, March 4th, the English School Girls' Football Team embarked on an exhilarating journey as they faced off against the Senior School in a gripping 7v7 match. The final score stood at 2-5 in favour of the Senior School, but the game was about much more than just the numbers on the scoreboard.

On Friday, March 1st, the English School Junior Boys Basketball Team achieved a significant victory, defeating G.C.School (Sports School) with an impressive score of 49-33. This win not only showcases the team's skill and determination but also secures their position among the top 4 schools in the highly competitive Nicosia Junior Boys Basketball Tournament.

The U15 girls' football team at the English School demonstrated exceptional skill and determination in their recent match against Anorthosis, resulting in a hard-fought 0-0 draw. Despite the lack of goals, the game was a showcase of the team's defensive prowess, with standout performances from several players.
