On November 11th, the planet Mercury will pass directly between the Earth and the Sun, this is called a transit, and Mercury will be seen as a tiny black spot on the Sun’s disk. 
 

Come to the area by the library between 14.30 and 15.30 on the 11th November to observe this rare phenomenon SAFELY. 
 
The next time it will be visible will be 2032
 
Caution: Do not try to observe the phenomenon with your eyes, or with a telescope without a high-quality solar filter. Permanent damage to the retina, leading to loss of vision or blindness may occur.
