Celebrating Anna Maria Menelaou’s Success at MED-MEP 2025 in Madrid

We are proud to celebrate the achievement of our student, Anna Maria Menelaou, who represented both our school and Cyprus at the prestigious MED-MEP 2025 (Model of the European Parliament) event held in Madrid from 4th to 8th April 2025.

Anna Maria reflected on her experience, sharing:

“I had the amazing opportunity to represent Cyprus alongside students from 12 Mediterranean countries. Together with four other Cypriot students from schools across the island, and with the support of the Ministry of Education, we debated real issues, worked in committees, and created unforgettable memories. I truly recommend this experience to anyone interested in politics, international relations, or simply stepping out of their comfort zone.”

Opportunities like MED-MEP not only develop critical thinking, public speaking, and collaboration skills but also offer students the chance to engage with pressing European and global issues.
