Bronze Medal Win for English School Student at the Pancyprian Economics Olympiad 2025
We are proud to announce that Jason Tsolakis, a Year 7 student and active member of our Economics Olympiad Club, has achieved remarkable success in the 5th Pancyprian Economics Olympiad, earning the bronze medal!
The Olympiad, held on 9th March 2025, was organised by the Pancyprian Association of Economics Teachers in collaboration with the University of Cyprus and supported by Grant Thornton Cyprus. The competition brought together students from across the island, including top senior-level students from public and private schools, to demonstrate their understanding and application of economic principles.
Despite being one of the youngest participants, Jason stood out among older competitors, demonstrating both advanced knowledge and exceptional analytical skills. His success is a testament to his hard work, critical thinking, and dedication—as well as the strong support and mentoring provided by the school’s Economics Department.
We congratulate Jason on this impressive achievement and look forward to seeing his continued success in future academic competitions.
