Marlen's sucess at European Championship

History was made this summer when Marlen Vafeades became the first-ever person in Cyprus to qualify and compete in the European Equestrian Jumping Championship for Children and Juniors. 

Marlen from Year 2 worked hard to get there; managing to maintain a successful balance between a gruelling training regime and her school work.  She spent months leading up to the championships taking part in high-pressure tournaments throughout Europe with the dream of qualifying.  She managed to do so with flying colours and competed at the 2019 Europen Championships in De Wolden, The Netherlands. Huge congratulations from all of us. We are very proud of you.
