The English School Students Excel in National Geography Olympiad – Two to Represent Cyprus at iGeo 2025 in Thailand!

We are thrilled to announce that once again, The English School Geography students have achieved outstanding results in the National Geography Olympiad, held at the end of March 2025.

 

Four of our students ranked among the top six performers in Cyprus, a testament to their dedication, knowledge, and passion for geography.

Special congratulations go to:

• Giorgos Hadjigeorgiou (Year 7) – 2nd place
• Christodoulos Christodoulides (Year 7) – 4th place

Both students have been selected to join Team Cyprus and will represent the country at the prestigious International Geography Olympiad (iGeo), taking place in Bangkok, Thailand from July 26 to August 1, 2025.
We also congratulate Mele Nicolas Alexandros and Artemis Spyridoula Riga, who also performed exceptionally well and were named among the top finalists.

This achievement highlights the strength of our Geography Department and the academic excellence our students continue to demonstrate on national and international platforms.

We wish our students the best of luck as they prepare for this exciting global event.
