Our Pastoral Team of First Responders recently participated in the Spring Term Safeguarding Training session led by Ms Elena Ignatiou, the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and Dr Eva Polyviou, the Deputy DSL.

On Friday, January 26th, 2024, The English School had the immense honour and privilege of being part of a truly extraordinary celebration – the 100th birthday of one of our cherished alumni, Mr George Zartarian. This milestone event marked not only a century of life but also a century of enduring connection with our school and a remarkable journey through history.

In a significant step towards fostering political awareness and civic engagement, 12 bright students from the English School (ES) embarked on an enriching journey as part of the "School-Ambassador" program of the European Parliament. This initiative is not only shaping their understanding of European parliamentary democracy but also igniting their passion for active participation in EU democratic processes.

The English School EYP Club recently hosted an Inter-School EYP Session that brought together over 100 students from five different schools in Nicosia and Limassol. This collaborative event, held on Saturday, January 13th, marked a significant milestone for the club and the participating schools. The session was a testament to the dedication and hard work of all those involved, from the ES EYP Club Board to the session organizing team.
