The Cap, Gown and Stole

 

 

The English School Leavers will wear a traditional cap, gown and stole.
 
The Graduation Package (price already included in school fees) includes the following:

  • The rental of the Graduation attire (gown, cap and stole, and a 2023 tassel as a memorable souvenir)

  • A set of three photographs

  • The link to the video was edited from the live streaming and filming of the ceremony.

 
 
Collection of Graduation Package:
Collection of gowns will be at the Drama room (Mobile in front of the main entrance of Lloyds building) on the following days:

  • Wednesday, 7th June, between 9.00 am and 1.30 pm (ONLY 7B, 7G, 7J)

  • Thursday, 8th June, between 09.00 am and 1.30 pm (ONLY  7R, 7W, 7Y)

Return of Graduation Garment:
Graduates will return their gown, cap and stole before leaving the Graduation Ceremony. A return station will be visible next to the Newham Building Quadrangle with tables and class names where graduates must return garments and sign as they return.

On returning their garments, they will pick up their souvenir graduation bag, school pin, awards, commendations and official leaving certificate.
The 2023 Tassel is a gift as a memorable souvenir.

We want to emphasise that this is a formal occasion and all students are expected to attend in their formal school uniform. Leavers must wear a white school shirt with a collar or a white formal collared shirt, school tie, and trousers or skirt under their gowns. (Girls cannot wear a skort). All must wear black shoes. Boys should be clean-shaven. Flowers and jewellery should not be worn on the gown.

Dress for the Graduation Ceremony
Leavers should arrive wearing the Graduation garments when they come to school in order to take individual, family, classmates and Form pictures with the photographer.
We would like to emphasise that this is a formal occasion and all students are expected to attend in their formal school uniform. (White school shirt with a collar, school tie, school trousers /skirt, black shoes)
Boys should be neatly shaved, and no flowers or jewellery may be worn with the gown.
