The Head of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Vart Alteparmakian graduated from London University with a BSc (Hons) degree and PhD in Synthetic Organometallic Chemistry. She has been a member of the department since 1994.
Mr George Papageorgiou graduated from the University of Cyprus with a BSc degree in Chemistry. He joined the Chemistry Department in 2007 after teaching at the Pascal English School for eight years where he taught General Science, IGCSE, AS and A2 level Chemistry as well as Chemistry for the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
