Criteria For Prizes In Mathematics
For Years 1, 2 and 3
Prizes are awarded to students who achieve the highest mark in the internal end of year examinations in June.
For Year 4
Prizes are awarded to students who achieve the highest mark in the external IGCSE examinations in June.
For Year 5
Prizes are awarded to students who achieve the highest mark in the external C1 examination in June.
If a large number of students achieve full marks, as it has happened in June 2006 when 18 students achieved 100%, the Department awards commentations internally.

For Year 6
Prizes are awarded to students who achieve the highest marks in the external examinations in June, in the following categories:
- Academic Excellence in Pure
- Academic Excellence in Statistics
- Academic Excellence in Mechanics
