Teaching Staff

There are four full-time, one part-time and two visiting teachers in the Modern Languages Department.

 
Loukia Efthymiouis the Head of Department. She graduated from University College London and went on to do a PGCE in French and Italian. She then came to Cyprus and worked for some years in other private schools before joining the English School in 1990.

Vanessa Crambert joined the English School in Sept 2013 as a visiting teacher of French. She is of French nationality and has a degree in teaching French as a second language from Grenoble.
 
Katia Solomides was educated in France where she studied 'Sciences du Langage'. For 12 years she taught French at the French Cultural Centre in Nicosia. She was appointed at the English School in 2004. She is a full-time teacher of French.
 
Rolla Christopoulos was educated at the University of Beirut in Lebanon. She taught French at the English Institute for several years before being appointed at the English School in 2008 as a part-time teacher of French.
 
Virginia Rengel-Kefalais of Venezuelan origin and was educated in Venezuela, USA and Spain where she studied Marketing and teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. She joined the English School in 2008 where she teaches Spanish full-time.
  
Claudia Moyseos was educated in Germany where she obtained her degree in German and English. She is of German nationality and joined the English School in 2012 as visiting teacher of German and English.
