Founder's Day Prize Criteria

The Turkish Language Department has been allocated a global number of 15 prizes according to the number of pupils taught in the Department. As a good number of students are quite good in Turkish, strict and specific criteria need to be taken into consideration. Apart from the academic aspect of their work, the students should be very attentive and energetic in class, respect their teachers and peers and have excellent conduct in general.

The following policy has been agreed:
  •     The prizes will be allocated for academic excellence and top overall performance in Year 2.
  •     For years 3,4,5 and 6, the prizes will be allocated to the pupils in each year with the highest IGCSE/GCE/ C1 exam results
  •     2 prizes will be allocated for the highest IGCSE results.
  •     2 prizes will be allocated for the highest AS level results.
  •     2 prizes will be allocated for the highest A level results.
  •     2 prizes will be allocated for the highest C1 level results.
  •     Prizes will be in the form of books which will be awarded during the Founder's Day Prize Giving Ceremony.
