There is one full-time and one part-time teacher in the Turkish Language Department.
Ulker Uzuner (UUZ) is the Head of the Department. He is of Cypriot Nationality and has B.A. and M.A. degrees in Turkish Language and literature. Then, he went on to do his PGCE in Modern Languages at the Middlesex University. He taught successively in England for several years. Then, he came back to Cyprus and worked for some years in other private schools before joining the English School in September 2010.
Maria Praskeva (MPA) has a B.A. in Turkish studies from the University of Cyprus. Then she studied Pedagogical Sciences / Cultural Dimensions of Educations in the University of Cyprus. She was appointed to the English School in 2007. She is a part-time teacher of Turkish Language.
