Books

BOOKS POLICY

The department has currently in excess of 600 books. This is the largest departmental library in the school. Most books are new but a good proportion is older ones which show how the focus of the subject has changed through time.All books is kept in the Departmental Suite. They have been extensively used for supporting teaching at all levels .These books are lent out to students who want to research for projects.

FUTURE PLANS

As part of the Development plan a medium term target has been set of going through the mammoth task of improving the current list to adding the following extras for each book:
  1. A  reference number
  2. Brief comments
  3. Target level and age group
  4. Publisher
  5. Number of copies

TEXTBOOKS USED

Textbooks are a useful support to all other teaching and support resources used. The department reviews every year what is available and appropriate for each level
