Year 3

Geography is a subject that is current and changing.  Students should appreciate the concepts and ideas being taught without becoming too focused on memorizing too many details about every single page in a book. Geographical understanding of the world today is developed over time. Geography is also a skills based subject. Students should develop the skills of reading and interpreting graphs, maps, and articles. A good geographer is someone who asks the question why the world is the way it is and be able to come up with ideas of why it might be that way.  In other words geographers can postulate, think, about our ever changing world.
